2010 Mazda3 Unveiled!

After making its debut on the 6 sedan, Mazda's new styling language will soon be applied to the smaller 3. Though not officially set to be released until next month's Los Angeles auto show, Mazda's provided a sneak peak at the upcoming model- including some photos.
Seeing the current car restyled after five years, photos show the upcoming 3 sedan will convey a more dramatic and dynamic stance, sleek and modern front and rear fascias and styling elements like exaggerated venting, multi-segment headlamps, dual outlet exhaust and sculpted character lines. Fenders are stretched outwards for a 'wheels at the corners' look, and the trunk lid incorporates a small spoiler. Seems like the sporty appearance that's helped make the current car a hit has been moved up a few pegs.
Mazda says that they've enhanced every element found in the current car for maximum exhilaration. The new 3 will feature a sportier and more refined ride, top-notch fuel efficiency and quiet operation too. Power will come from a 2.0 or 2.5 litre four cylinder engine, and the new hatchback model will follow the sedan.
3 has sold nearly 2 million units since 2003 and won over 90 global awards to date.
