The 2017 Mazda 3 has just been introduced by Mazda, and it certainly has quite a few changes to offer consumers. While it hasn’t been completely redesigned, Mazda’s most popular vehicle has just enough improvements to keep it competitive in the crowded and popular compact vehicle segment.

At the heart of these improvements is Mazda’s all-new G-Vectoring Control system, a new technology designed to improve what is already stellar handling in one of the industry’s most fun-to-drive vehicles. G-Vectoring Control is a technology that modifies the amount of torque coming from the engine based on what the wheels are doing. Simple in nature, it makes a world of difference in both comfort and driving dynamics. The 2017 Mazda 3 also gets a few cosmetic changes to make sure it stays up-to-date.

“Mazda is striving to become an irreplaceable presence in the lives of our customers, to create a special bond with them and to be a ‘one-and-only’ brand they will choose again and again,” said Masamichi Kogai, Mazda’s President and CEO.

“In order to do that, we will continue updating our models with next-generation technologies based on our human-centered development philosophy, without concern for the timing of redesigns.”
