No need to spend a fortune to have fun behind the wheel of your car on the way to work. At least, that’s what Mazda engineers seemed to have thought when they originally designed the Mazda3 back in 2004. Now in its third generation, the 2017 Mazda3 stays true to its original personality, but it is now more fuel-efficient and safe as ever. Oh, and it is also affordable.

The Mazda3 doesn’t need any more introductions. And for 2017, Mazda brings a whole range of improvements making it more competitive than ever in the compact car segment. Both inside and out, a wind of change and improvement blows on the 2017 Mazda3. New wheels, new headlights, a new and more modern interior and dashboard, everything has been redesigned.

2017 Mazda3 first to offer G-Vectoring Control

The biggest improvement made to the Mazda3 for 2017 is not something you see when you look at the car, however, but rather something you feel when you are driving it. The 2017 Mazda3 is now equipped with G-Vectoring Control, the latest addition to Mazda’s SKYACTIV family of technologies and the first part of the new SKYACTIV VEHICHLE DYNAMICS technology suite.

By analyzing the condition of the road and how you are driving the 2017 Mazda3 every millisecond, sensors are able to subtly modify engine torque as well as suspension and steering parameters in order to offer a more comfortable and more engaging drive. You will notice that you do not feel the weight transfers as much in the car and you move less from side to side. On the highway, you do not need as many steering inputs and corrections to keep the car straight.

This translates into a better onboard experience, increased comfort and greater peace of mind.

The 2017 Mazda3 is now more affordable

At Gyro Mazda, the new 2017 Mazda3 is available from only $ 15,900, making it one of the most affordable compact sedans in its segment.

The Mazda3 continues to be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder SKYACTIV-G engine developing 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. Two transmissions are offered: an automatic or a manual, and both with six speeds.

The 2017 Mazda3 is also available in a top-of-the-line GT trim, where the displacement of the engine increases to 2.5 liters for even more intoxicating performance. The 2017 Mazda3 GT offers 184 horsepower and 185 lb.-ft. of torque, and the same six-speed gearboxes are offered.

For 2017, despite all the improvements made to it, the Mazda3 GT is sold at a lower price than in 2016. We are now asking for $ 24,000, a reduction of $ 1,350.
